Ingredients

4 servings
Short grain rice (sushi rice)1½ cups, cooked (about 4 cups cooked)
Soy sauce2 tbsp
Sesame oil2 tsp
Salta pinch

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Cook the rice and let it cool until warm enough to handle.
  2. 2With wet, salted hands press into firm triangles.
  3. 3Grill or pan fry in a lightly oiled pan until crisp on both sides.
  4. 4Brush with soy and grill again until the soy toasts.
Serve it like this

Serve two per person on a small plate with pickles, or wrap with a strip of nori for holding.
