Ingredients

2 servings
Filter coffee powder3 heaped tbsp, with chicory
Water½ cup, just boiled
Milk1½ cups
Sugar3 tsp, or to taste

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Put the coffee powder in the upper chamber of the filter and press lightly with the umbrella disc. Pour in the boiling water, cover and leave to drip.
  2. 2Boil the milk until it froths up.
  3. 3Put sugar in a tumbler, add 2 to 3 tbsp of decoction and top up with hot milk.
  4. 4Pour between the tumbler and davara from a height a few times. Serve in the davara set.
Serve it like this

Pour into glasses just before serving, nicely chilled or piping hot, whichever it's meant to be.
