Ingredients

Pita bread2 rounds fatir or flatbread, torn
Kashk⅔ cup, or qurut dissolved
Water1⅔ cups
Onion1 large, sliced
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)3 tbsp (or linseed oil)
Tomato3, sliced
Cucumber2, sliced
Capsicum (green capsicum, green bell pepper)1, sliced
Coriander leaves (cilantro)handful
Saltto taste

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Whisk kashk with water into a thin, salty sauce.
  2. 2Fry the onion in oil until golden.
  3. 3Tear the bread into a wide dish and pour over the sauce. Let it soak.
  4. 4Top with tomato, cucumber, capsicum, fried onion and its oil, and coriander.
Serve it like this
