Ingredients

12 servings
Marie biscuitsplain sweet biscuits, roughly crushed
Walnutschopped
Butter½ cup
Sugar½ cup
Cocoa powder (unsweetened cocoa powder)¼ cup
Egg1, beaten
Dark chocolate (bittersweet chocolate)for topping
Coconut oil1 tbsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Melt butter, sugar and cocoa together, stirring until smooth. Cool 2 minutes.
  2. 2Whisk in the egg quickly, then return to low heat for 1 minute, stirring, until slightly thickened.
  3. 3Mix with crushed biscuits and walnuts and press into a lined 20 x 20 cm tin.
  4. 4Melt chocolate with coconut oil, spread over and chill 2 hours before cutting.
Serve it like this

Cut into small squares, as it is rich, and serve chilled with coffee or tea.
