What sells

  • Evening snacks in sets of 4, 6 or 12
  • Frozen ready to fry packs (momos, samosas, kebabs)
  • Festival snack boxes
  • Party platters for get togethers

Pricing

  • Price per set, not per piece, so orders stay simple
  • Frozen packs let you cook once and sell all week

Packing and order times

  • Paper boxes for fried snacks so they stay crisp; chutneys in small sealed cups
  • A same day 9 am cutoff works for evening snacks

Keeping it fresh

Fried snacks are best within hours; frozen packs keep for weeks in a freezer, with frying steps on the label.

Selling snacks and street food on Bloom, step by step

  1. Turn on your kitchen. In Bloom's Kitchen tab, tap Sell your home cooking: a name, what you cook, pickup or delivery and how you get paid. Three steps, free.
  2. Add your dishes. Each dish once: a photo, the price, the portion (serves 2, 500 g, 6 pieces) and the allergens.
  3. Plan your cook days. Tick the days you cook, how many portions of each dish, and when orders close. Days that repeat every week open by themselves.
  4. Share your menu. Bloom makes a menu picture and message for WhatsApp, your status, Instagram and your building group, the moment it's live.
  5. Cook, hand over, get paid. Orders count down your portions. Buyers pay you directly by UPI, bank, any payment app or cash. No commission.

Rules for selling food from home differ by country and city. Bloom lets you add a registration or permit number where you have one; check what your area asks for.

Questions

Can I sell frozen snacks?

Yes. Describe them as frozen, ready to cook, and add the cooking steps in the dish description.

How do I handle party platters?

Make a party size dish with more notice (hours of notice on the dish), or answer requests from buyers nearby with an offer.

What if someone doesn't collect?

Mark the order not collected. Bloom shows you buyers who missed pickups before.
