Ingredients

4 servings
Tuna in oil (tinned tuna)2 cans, drained
Mayonnaise3½ tbsp
Celery1 stick, finely diced
Onion2 tbsp, minced
Lemon juice2 tsp
Prepared mustard1½ tsp
Flat leaf parsley1 tbsp
Black peppera pinch
White bread8 slices
Cheddar cheese4 thick slices
Butter2 tbsp, soft

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Mix tuna, mayo, celery, onion, lemon, mustard, parsley and pepper.
  2. 2Butter one side of each slice. Build sandwiches buttered side out with tuna and cheese.
  3. 3Cook on medium low, covered, 3 to 4 minutes a side.
Serve it like this

Cut diagonally so the cheese stretches, and serve with pickles, chips or a cup of tomato soup.
