Ingredients

6 servings
Short grain rice (sushi rice)1½ cups
Rice vinegar2 tbsp
Sugar1 tbsp
Crab sticks (imitation crab, seafood sticks)250 g, shredded
Cream cheese⅓ cup, soft
Mayonnaise¼ cup Japanese mayo
Red chilli sauce1 tbsp sriracha
Spring onion (green onion, scallion)sliced
Sesame seeds1 tbsp
Nori sheets1 sheet crumbled plus snack sheets to serve
Cucumber1, in sticks
Avocado1, sliced
Salta pinch

Method

5 steps
  1. 1Cook rice and season with vinegar, sugar and salt.
  2. 2Press rice into a baking dish and sprinkle with crumbled nori and sesame.
  3. 3Mix crab with cream cheese, half the mayo and spring onion; spread over the rice.
  4. 4Drizzle with remaining mayo mixed with sriracha and bake at 200 C until bubbling and browned.
  5. 5Serve with nori sheets, cucumber and avocado to scoop and wrap.
