Ingredients

3 servings
Soya chunks1½ cups dry soya chunks
Hung curd (greek yogurt)⅔ cup
Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
Kashmiri chilli powder1½ tsp
Garam masala1 tsp
Chaat masala½ tsp
Besan (chickpea flour, gram flour)1½ tbsp, roasted
Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)2 tsp
Lemon juice2 tsp
Saltto taste
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)1 tbsp
Capsicum (green capsicum, green bell pepper)1, in squares
Onion1, in petals

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Boil the soya chunks in salted water for 5 minutes, then rinse in cold water and squeeze hard.
  2. 2Mix yoghurt, ginger garlic paste, spices, roasted besan, kasuri methi, lemon, salt and half the oil. Coat the soya, capsicum and onion and rest 20 minutes.
  3. 3Thread onto skewers, brush with oil and air fry or grill at 200°C, turning once.
  4. 4Sprinkle with chaat masala and lemon.
Serve it like this

Slide off the skewers onto a platter with onion rings, lemon wedges and green chutney.
