Paneer tikka sandwich, classic.

Ingredients

4 servings
Whole wheat bread (wholemeal bread)8 slices
Paneer200 g, small cubes
Hung curd (greek yogurt)3 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste1½ tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder1 tsp
Garam masala½ tsp
Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)½ tsp, crushed
Chaat masala1 tsp
Salt½ tsp
Onion1 small, diced
Capsicum (green capsicum, green bell pepper)½, diced
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)2 tsp
Butter4 tsp
Mint leavesa handful
Coriander leaves (cilantro)a small bunch
Green chilli1
Lemon juice1 tsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Mix hung curd, ginger garlic paste, chilli, garam masala, kasuri methi, chaat masala and salt. Coat the paneer, onion and capsicum and rest 15 minutes.
  2. 2Sear the mix in hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. 3Blend mint, coriander, chilli, lemon and salt into a thick chutney.
  4. 4Butter the bread, spread chutney, fill with the tikka and grill till crisp.
Serve it like this
