Ingredients

4 servings
Minced beef (beef mince, beef or buff keema)300 g beef mince
Minced mutton (goat mince, ground goat)150 g lamb mince
Minced pork (pork mince, ground pork)150 g pork mince
Garlic5 cloves, grated
Baking soda (bicarb soda, bicarbonate of soda)¾ tsp
Dried thyme1 tsp
Paprika½ tsp
Black pepper1 tsp
Beef stock (beef broth)½ cup, cold
Salt1½ tsp
Prepared mustardto serve
White breadto serve

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Mix the meats with garlic, spices, salt and soda, then knead in the cold stock bit by bit.
  2. 2Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. 3With wet hands roll into finger length sausages.
  4. 4Grill over medium hot coals, turning, until browned and cooked through.
Serve it like this
