Ingredients

Pickled tea leaves¼ cup lahpet, or blanched green tea leaves with lime and garlic
Cabbagefinely shredded
Tomato2, sliced
Roasted chana dal (roasted split chickpeas)fried split peas or roasted chana
Peanutsroasted
Sesame seedstoasted
Garlic8 cloves, thinly sliced
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)2 tbsp, for garlic oil
Dried shrimp1 tbsp, pounded
Green chilli2, chopped
Lemon juicelime juice
Fish sauce1 tbsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Fry garlic slices in oil until golden and crisp. Keep the oil.
  2. 2Mix tea leaves with garlic oil, lime and fish sauce.
  3. 3Toss with cabbage, tomato, chillies and dried shrimp.
  4. 4Add the crunchy beans, peanuts, sesame and garlic chips at the last moment.
Serve it like this
