Cheese curdsfresh cheese curds
Maida (all-purpose flour, plain flour)1 cup
Milk⅔ cup
Soda water (club soda)¼ cup, cold, or beer
Egg1
Baking powder1 tsp
Salt½ tsp
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)for frying

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, milk, egg and cold soda water into a smooth batter like thick cream.
  2. 2Heat oil to 185°C. Dip curds a handful at a time in batter, letting excess drip off.
  3. 3Fry 1 to 2 minutes until golden, then drain.
  4. 4Serve at once with ranch or marinara.
Serve it like this
