Ingredients

4 servings
Green chilli250 g large green chillies, slit lengthwise
Chhurpi, soft150 g soft datshi or feta style cheese
Processed cheese (american cheese)½ cup, grated (to help it melt)
Onion1, sliced
Tomato1, chopped
Garlic2 cloves, sliced
Butter2 tsp
Water1 cup
Saltto taste

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Put chillies, onion and water in a pan. Bring to a boil and cook 8 minutes.
  2. 2Add tomato, garlic and butter and cook 3 minutes.
  3. 3Add the cheeses, stir gently and simmer 3 minutes until melted into a sauce.
  4. 4Rest 2 minutes and serve.
Serve it like this

Serve in a bowl beside Bhutanese red rice or plain rice; mix and eat with a spoon.
