Prunes20 pitted prunes (or dates)
Almonds20 whole, blanched
Bacon (streaky rashers, streaky bacon)10 thin streaky rashers, halved
Black peppera pinch

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Tuck an almond into each prune.
  2. 2Stretch the bacon halves and wrap tightly around each prune.
  3. 3Roast at 200 C for 15 minutes, turning once.
  4. 4Rest 2 minutes, spear with cocktail sticks.
Serve it like this
