Puff pastrycroissant dough or puff pastry, 4 pieces
Pearl sugar2 tbsp (or coarse sugar)
Butterfor the iron
Vanilla ice cream4 scoops
Maple syrup2 tbsp
Strawberriesa few, sliced

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Roll pastry pieces into loose croissant shapes and sprinkle with pearl sugar.
  2. 2Brush a hot waffle iron with butter and press each roll for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. 3Cool 1 minute on a rack.
  4. 4Top with ice cream, strawberries and a drizzle of maple syrup.
Serve it like this
