Ingredients

8 servings
Spicy salami (pepperoni)100 g, thinly sliced
Prosciutto100 g
Cooked ham100 g, folded
Cheddar cheese150 g, in slices
Brie1 small wheel
Water crackersa box
Baguette (french bread roll)½, sliced
Grapesa big bunch
Apple1, sliced
Green olives½ cup
Dill pickles (gherkins)a handful of gherkins
Almonds⅓ cup
Fruit jam (jam or preserves)3 tbsp fig or apricot jam

Method

5 steps
  1. 1Take cheeses out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving.
  2. 2Set cheeses and small bowls for olives, pickles and jam on a big board first.
  3. 3Fold or ruffle the meats into loose piles and rivers between them.
  4. 4Fill gaps with crackers, bread, fruit and almonds.
  5. 5Slice the apple last and serve with small knives.
Serve it like this

Use a large wooden board, cheeses spaced apart, meats in folds, fruit tucked in. Serve at room temperature with small knives and napkins.
