Pasta2½ cups penne
Butter2 tbsp
Maida (all-purpose flour, plain flour)3 tbsp
Milk2 cups, warm
Garlic4 cloves, chopped
Olive oil2 tsp
Sweet corn kernels (corn kernels)⅓ cup
Capsicum (green capsicum, green bell pepper)½, diced
Broccoli1 cup florets
Carrot1 small, diced
Processed cheese (american cheese)½ cup, grated
Black pepper½ tsp
Dried mixed herbs (italian seasoning)1 tsp
Dried red chillia pinch of chilli flakes

- 1Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain, keeping some water.
- 2Saute garlic in olive oil, then the vegetables for 3 minutes. Keep aside.
- 3Melt butter, add maida and stir on low for 1 minute.
- 4Whisk in warm milk gradually and cook, stirring, until thick and smooth.
- 5Add cheese, pepper, herbs, chilli and salt. Toss in pasta and vegetables, loosening with pasta water.
Serve it like thisServe hot in bowls straight from the pan, while everything is still glossy.
