Ingredients

4 servings
Minced beef (beef mince, beef or buff keema)300 g
Minced pork (pork mince, ground pork)200 g
Onion½, finely chopped
Garlic4 cloves, minced
Spring onion (green onion, scallion)2 stalks, chopped
Soy sauce2 tbsp, divided
Sugar1 tbsp
Pear¼, grated
Glutinous rice flour (sweet rice flour)1½ tbsp
Sesame oil2 tsp
Black peppera pinch
Honey1 tbsp
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)1 tbsp
Pine nuts1 tsp, chopped

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Knead the meats with onion, garlic, spring onion, half the soy, sugar, pear, rice flour, sesame oil and pepper for 3 minutes.
  2. 2Shape into flat oval patties about 1.5 cm thick and chill 15 minutes.
  3. 3Pan grill on medium for 4 minutes a side until cooked through.
  4. 4Brush with the rest of the soy mixed with honey and cook 1 minute more a side. Top with pine nuts.
Serve it like this

Serve the glossy patties on a plate with pine nuts on top, rice, lettuce and pickled radish alongside.
