Radish (daikon radish, mooli)1 medium mooli, julienned
Salt1 tsp
Gochugaru1 tbsp
Sugar2 tsp
Vinegar1 tbsp
Garlic2 cloves, minced
Ginger½ tsp, grated
Spring onion (green onion, scallion)1, sliced
Sesame seeds1 tsp

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Julienne the radish into long thin matchsticks.
  2. 2Toss radish with gochugaru first and rub gently.
  3. 3Add salt, sugar, vinegar, garlic and ginger and toss. Rest 10 minutes, then add spring onion and sesame.
Serve it like this

Serve in a small bowl as banchan, sesame on top, beside rice, soup and grilled meats.
