Rye bread4 thin slices dark rye
Butter2 tbsp
Lettucea few leaves
Egg4, hard boiled and sliced
Prawns (shrimp)200 g cooked, peeled
Mayonnaise¼ cup
Lemonwedges
Dill leavessprigs
Cucumberthin slices
Black peppera pinch

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Boil eggs 9 minutes, cool in cold water, peel and slice.
  2. 2Butter the rye right to the edges and lay on lettuce.
  3. 3Arrange egg slices, then pile prawns on top.
  4. 4Pipe or spoon mayo, add cucumber, dill, pepper and a lemon wedge.
Serve it like this

Serve on a flat plate with a knife and fork, lemon wedge and dill sprig on top. Chilled, with a glass of cold water or juice.
