Ingredients

4 servings
Back bacon (peameal bacon, canadian bacon)peameal bacon, in 1 cm slices
Maize flour (fine yellow cornmeal)cornmeal, if your bacon is not already coated
Burger bun4 kaiser rolls
Prepared mustardyellow or honey mustard
Honey2 tsp, optional
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)1 tbsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1If needed, press the bacon slices into cornmeal on both sides.
  2. 2Fry in a hot pan with oil for 3 minutes a side until golden and cooked through.
  3. 3Split and toast the rolls. Mix mustard with honey.
  4. 4Stack 3 or 4 slices on each roll with mustard.
Serve it like this

Serve hot on a paper wrapped roll with extra mustard on the side. Coffee and a market stroll recommended.
