Ingredients

3 servings
Pork ribs450 g, in 3 cm pieces
Fermented black beans1½ tbsp, rinsed and crushed
Garlic6 cloves, minced
Tapioca starch1 tbsp
Soy sauce1 tbsp
Sugar1 tsp
Salta pinch
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)2 tsp
Fresh red chillies (fresh red chiles)1, sliced
Spring onion (green onion, scallion)1, sliced

Method

5 steps
  1. 1Soak the ribs in cold water 15 minutes, rinse and pat dry.
  2. 2Fry the garlic and black beans in oil until fragrant.
  3. 3Mix the ribs with the black bean mixture, soy, sugar, salt and starch and marinate 20 minutes.
  4. 4Spread in a shallow dish and steam over high heat for 18 to 20 minutes until cooked through.
  5. 5Top with chilli and spring onion.
Serve it like this
