Ingredients

2 servings
Cornflour (cornstarch)½ cup ogi paste or cornflour
Water2 cups, about half boiling
Sugar4 tsp
Evaporated milk¼ cup, to drizzle
Lemon juice1 tsp, if using cornflour

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Mix the ogi paste or cornflour with half a cup of cold water until smooth.
  2. 2Pour freshly boiling water over in a steady stream while stirring fast.
  3. 3If it does not thicken, stir over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. 4Stir in sugar and lemon, drizzle with evaporated milk and serve hot.
Serve it like this

Serve in a bowl, drizzled with milk, with hot akara or moin moin on the side for dipping.
