Ingredients

Radish (daikon radish, mooli)1 medium Korean radish or mooli, julienned
Sesame oil1 tbsp
Garlic1 clove, minced
Salt¾ tsp
Water¼ cup
Spring onion (green onion, scallion)1 stalk, chopped
Sesame seeds1 tsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Cut the radish into thin matchsticks of even size.
  2. 2Stir fry the radish in sesame oil with garlic and salt for 2 minutes.
  3. 3Add the water, cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. 4Uncover, add spring onion and seeds and toss.
Serve it like this

Serve warm or at room temperature in a small dish, with sesame seeds on top and a bowl of rice alongside.
