Wheat noodlesyellow egg noodles
Potato1, boiled and cubed
Firm tofufried cubes
Egg2
Prawns (shrimp)6, peeled
Cabbageshredded
Bok choy (pak choi)choy sum or bok choy
Moong sprouts (mung bean sprouts)bean sprouts
Tomato1, in wedges
Onion1 small
Garlic4 cloves
Dried red chillichilli paste from soaked chillies
Coriander powder (ground coriander)1 tsp curry powder
Tomato ketchup (ketchup)1½ tbsp
Kecap manis1½ tbsp
Soy sauce2 tsp
Oyster sauce2 tsp
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)2 tbsp
Lemonlime wedge

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Fry onion, garlic and chilli paste in oil until dark and fragrant. Add curry powder.
  2. 2Add prawns, potato and tofu and toss until prawns are pink.
  3. 3Push aside, scramble eggs, then add noodles, cabbage and greens with all sauces. Toss hard.
  4. 4Add sprouts and tomato for 30 seconds. Serve with lime.
Serve it like this

Pile onto a plate with a lime wedge and a fried egg on top if you like. Serve with a glass of teh tarik.
