Method
5 steps- 1Whisk flour, sugar, egg, milk, baking powder and salt into a smooth thick batter. Rest 1 hour.
- 2Stir in baking soda dissolved in a spoon of water.
- 3Pour into a hot, buttered heavy pan, swirl up the sides, cook on low until the surface is covered in holes. Sprinkle a little sugar.
- 4Cover and cook until set on top and golden brown underneath.
- 5Spread with butter, condensed milk, peanuts and sesame, fold in half and cut into wedges.
Serve it like this
Cut the folded pancake into thick wedges, stack on a board or paper and serve warm with the filling oozing from the honeycomb.
