Thai iced tea.

Per serving, worked out from the ingredient table.

Ingredients

2 servings
Tea leaves (black tea leaves)3 tbsp Thai tea mix or strong Assam CTC
Whole spices1 star anise and a pinch of vanilla
Water1½ cups for brewing
Sugar2½ tbsp
Condensed milk (sweetened condensed milk)4 tbsp
Milk4 tbsp, or evaporated milk
Salta tiny pinch

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Boil water with star anise, add the tea and simmer 3 minutes. Steep 5 minutes more.
  2. 2Strain through a fine cloth, stir in sugar, condensed milk and the pinch of salt while hot. Cool.
  3. 3Fill tall glasses with ice, pour in the tea and float the milk on top.
Serve it like this

Pour over plenty of ice in a tall glass, float the milk on top and serve with a straw before the layers settle.
