Ingredients

Minced mutton (goat mince, ground goat)500 g lamb or beef mince
Onion1, grated
Tomato6, grated
Garlic3 cloves
Flat leaf parsleya handful
Coriander leaves (cilantro)a handful
Cumin powder (ground cumin)1½ tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder2 tsp, for paprika
Cinnamona pinch
Egg4
Olive oil2 tbsp
Saltto taste

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Mix the mince with grated onion, half the herbs and the spices. Roll into small balls.
  2. 2Simmer the grated tomato, garlic, oil and remaining spices until thick.
  3. 3Add the meatballs and simmer until cooked through.
  4. 4Make wells, crack in the eggs, cover and cook until the whites are set. Scatter herbs.
