Ingredients

6 servings
Maida (all-purpose flour, plain flour)2½ cups
Rava (semolina)½ cup fine semolina
Salt1 tsp
Sugar1 tsp
Instant dry yeast½ tsp
Water1 cup warm
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)3 tbsp
Butter2 tbsp, melted

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Knead the flour, semolina, salt, sugar, yeast and water into a soft, smooth dough. Divide into balls and coat in oil.
  2. 2Stretch each ball very thin on an oiled counter, dot with butter, sprinkle semolina and fold into a square.
  3. 3Flatten gently and cook on a hot tawa until golden and crisp on both sides.
Serve it like this
