Ingredients

2 servings
Filter coffee powder3 tbsp filter coffee powder
Water½ cup boiling, plus 3 tbsp cold
Instant coffee powder2 tsp
Jaggery2 tbsp, finely powdered
Sugar2 tsp
Milk1¼ cups, chilled
Cardamoma pinch
Ice cubes1 cup

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Pour 120 ml boiling water over the coffee powder in a filter or bowl. Steep 10 minutes, strain and chill.
  2. 2Put the instant coffee, jaggery powder, sugar and 3 tbsp cold water in a jar. Shake hard for 1 minute.
  3. 3Fill 2 glasses with ice. Add the decoction and the cold milk with the cardamom.
  4. 4Spoon the foam on top and serve with straws.
Serve it like this

Serve in a tall glass so the foam cap shows. Dust a little cardamom on the foam and set the glass on a steel davara for a nod to home.
