Ingredients

4 servings
Peanuts1⅔ cups raw groundnuts, finely ground
Tomato2, chopped
Onion1, chopped
Button mushroom150 g, sliced
Waterabout 3 1/2 cups
Saltto taste

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Mix the ground groundnuts with water into a smooth paste.
  2. 2Simmer, stirring often, until it thickens and oil begins to rise.
  3. 3Add onion, tomato, mushrooms and salt and simmer 10 more minutes.
Serve it like this

Spoon over steamed matoke, sweet potatoes or rice in a deep plate.
