Ingredients

4 servings
Chicken, boneless600 g boneless, strips
Capsicum (green capsicum, green bell pepper)1 large, chunks
Onion2, petals
Tomato2, wedges
Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
Green chilli3, slit
Red chilli powder (indian red chili powder)1½ tsp
Cumin seeds1 tsp
Coriander powder (ground coriander)2 tsp
Garam masala1 tsp
Turmeric (ground turmeric)¼ tsp
Vinegar2 tsp
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)2 tbsp
Coriander leaves (cilantro)a handful
Saltto taste

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Marinate chicken with ginger garlic, chilli, turmeric and salt.
  2. 2Sear chicken in hot oil until browned and cooked through with no pink remaining; remove.
  3. 3In the same pan, crackle cumin, add onion petals, capsicum and chillies; stir fry on high.
  4. 4Add tomato, powders, vinegar and chicken; toss until coated. Finish with coriander.
Serve it like this

Serve hot with chapati, naan or jeera rice and onion salad.
