Ingredients

Banana2 very ripe bananas, mashed
Whole wheat flour (wholemeal atta flour, chapati flour)1¼ cups
Egg1 egg
Curd (plain yogurt, natural yoghurt)¼ cup
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)¼ cup
Brown sugar3 tbsp
Baking soda (bicarb soda, bicarbonate of soda)½ tsp
Baking powder½ tsp
Cinnamon powder½ tsp
Dark chocolate (bittersweet chocolate)50 g, chopped into chips

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Heat the oven to 180 C and grease a 24 cup mini muffin tray.
  2. 2Whisk the banana, egg, curd, oil and brown sugar.
  3. 3Fold in the flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon, then two thirds of the chocolate.
  4. 4Spoon into the cups, top with the remaining chocolate and bake 12 to 14 minutes.
Serve it like this
