Classic badam milk.

Ingredients

3 servings
Almonds¼ cup, soaked and peeled
Milk2½ cups, full cream
Sugar3 tbsp
Saffrona pinch
Cardamom¼ tsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Soak almonds 6 hours or overnight, peel and grind with a little milk to a fine paste.
  2. 2Boil the rest of the milk and simmer with saffron for 5 minutes.
  3. 3Stir in the almond paste and sugar and simmer 5 minutes, stirring.
  4. 4Add cardamom. Serve hot, or chill for 2 hours.
Serve it like this

Pour into glasses just before serving, nicely chilled or piping hot, whichever it's meant to be.
