Ingredients

4 servings
Minced pork (pork mince, ground pork)500 g
Potato1 large, small dice
Carrot1, small dice
Green peas⅔ cup
Raisins3 tbsp
Tomato puree1 cup tomato sauce
Onion1, chopped
Garlic5 cloves, minced
Soy sauce1 tbsp
Fish sauce2 tsp
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)1½ tbsp
Black pepper½ tsp
Sugar1 tsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Fry the potatoes and carrots in oil until lightly browned, then lift out.
  2. 2Fry onion and garlic, then add the pork and cook until browned with no pink.
  3. 3Add tomato sauce, soy, fish sauce, sugar and 1/2 cup water. Simmer 10 minutes.
  4. 4Return the potatoes and carrots with the peas and raisins and cook 5 minutes until tender. Season with pepper.
Serve it like this

Spoon over steamed rice with a fried egg on top and a little banana ketchup on the side.
