Ingredients

3 servings
Milk2 cups, frozen in a tray
Condensed milk (sweetened condensed milk)⅓ cup, divided
Sweet red bean paste¾ cup
Korean rice cakessmall rice cakes, chopped
Almonds1½ tbsp, flaked
Salta pinch

Method

5 steps
  1. 1Mix the milk with 60 g condensed milk and salt, pour into a flat tray and freeze 6 hours.
  2. 2Simmer the rice cakes in water 3 minutes until soft, then cool in cold water.
  3. 3Shave or blitz the frozen milk in short pulses until fluffy.
  4. 4Pile into chilled bowls, top with red bean paste and rice cakes.
  5. 5Drizzle with the remaining condensed milk and scatter almonds.
Serve it like this

Serve in a large chilled bowl in the centre of the table with spoons for everyone, mixing as you eat.
