Ingredients

4 servings
Pasta200 g pastina, stelline or orzo
Chicken stock (chicken broth)4 cups
Butter1½ tbsp
Parmesan⅓ cup, grated
Egg1, beaten
Black pepperto taste
Saltto taste

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Bring stock to a boil and add the pastina.
  2. 2Simmer, stirring, until tender and most of the stock is absorbed.
  3. 3Off the heat stir in butter and parmesan.
  4. 4Stir in the beaten egg quickly.
Serve it like this

Serve in a warm bowl with extra parmesan and a crack of pepper. Eat with a spoon.
