Paneer250 g, cubed
Onion3 medium: 2 chopped, 1 in petals
Capsicum (green capsicum, green bell pepper)1, in squares
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)2 tbsp
Cumin seeds1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
Tomato2 medium, chopped
Turmeric (ground turmeric)¼ tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder1 tsp
Coriander powder (ground coriander)2 tsp
Garam masala½ tsp
Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)½ tsp

- 1Toss the onion petals and capsicum in 1 tsp oil on high heat for 2 minutes. Set aside.
- 2Heat remaining oil, crackle cumin and fry the chopped onion until golden brown.
- 3Add ginger garlic paste, powders and tomatoes. Cook until oil separates.
- 4Add paneer, salt, a splash of water, the onion petals and capsicum. Toss 2 minutes and finish with garam masala, kasuri methi and coriander.
Serve it like thisServe hot on a plate, with a few fresh coriander leaves on top.
