Ingredients

5 servings
Rice flour1¼ cups
Water¾ cup, boiling
Milk3¾ cups
Jaggery¾ cup, grated
Ghee2 tsp
Cardamom½ tsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Mix rice flour with boiling water and ghee into a soft dough.
  2. 2Roll small bits between your palms into thin noodles, about 4 cm long.
  3. 3Simmer the milk 10 minutes, drop in the noodles and cook until they float and turn translucent.
  4. 4Turn off the heat, wait 2 minutes and stir in melted, strained jaggery and cardamom.
Serve it like this

Serve warm in small bowls with a little extra ghee on top.
