Ingredients

4 servings
Cucumber3, very thinly sliced
Salt¾ tsp
Sour cream½ cup
Dill leavesa handful, chopped
Lemon juice2 tsp, or vinegar
Sugar1 tsp
Black peppera pinch

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Slice cucumbers paper thin, salt them and leave 10 minutes.
  2. 2Squeeze the slices gently and pour off the liquid.
  3. 3Stir in sour cream, dill, lemon, sugar and pepper. Chill.
Serve it like this

Serve very cold in a glass bowl with extra dill on top, beside fried or grilled mains and potatoes.
