Pork350 g pork shoulder, in 2 cm cubes
Soy sauce2 tsp
Salta pinch

Cornflour (cornstarch)½ cup
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)for frying (about 4 tbsp absorbed)
Onion1, in chunks
Capsicum (green capsicum, green bell pepper)1, in chunks
Pineapple1 cup chunks
Tomato ketchup (ketchup)3 tbsp
Vinegar2 tbsp
Sugar2½ tbsp

- 1Marinate the pork with soy and salt for 10 minutes, then mix in the egg and toss in cornflour.
- 2Fry in batches until golden, rest, then fry again until crisp and deep golden. Cook until no pink remains.
- 3Mix ketchup, vinegar, sugar and water with a teaspoon of cornflour.
- 4Stir fry onion and capsicum in a spoon of oil for a minute, add pineapple and the sauce and bubble until glossy.
- 5Add the pork, toss fast to coat and serve straight away.
Serve it like thisServe on a warm platter with the peppers and pineapple tumbling over the pork, plain rice on the side, as soon as it's tossed.
