Ingredients

Collard greens (haak)1 large bunch, stems removed, finely sliced
Onion1 medium, finely chopped
Garlic4 cloves, minced
Ginger2.5 cm, minced
Green chilli2, slit
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)2 tbsp
Water⅔ cup
Saltto taste

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Wash the greens well, roll the leaves and slice into thin ribbons.
  2. 2Soften the onion in the oil on medium, then add garlic and ginger.
  3. 3Add the greens, water and salt. Cover and cook on low, stirring now and then.
  4. 4Add the chillies, uncover and cook off any extra water.
Serve it like this
