Ingredients

2 servings
Tea leaves (black tea leaves)1½ tbsp strong black tea
Filter coffee powder1 tbsp ground coffee
Water400 ml (250 ml for tea, 150 ml for coffee)
Evaporated milk70 ml
Sugar1 tbsp

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Simmer the tea in 250 ml water for 3 minutes and strain through a fine cloth twice.
  2. 2Brew the coffee strong with 150 ml water and strain.
  3. 3Mix 7 parts milk tea to 3 parts coffee: stir the evaporated milk and sugar into the tea, then add the coffee.
Serve it like this

Serve hot in a thick diner cup, or over ice in a tall glass in summer.
