Banana4 saba or ripe nendran, halved lengthways
Sugar⅓ cup brown sugar
Spring roll sheets8 sheets
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)absorbed from frying

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Roll each banana piece in sugar and wrap tightly in a spring roll sheet, sealing with water.
  2. 2Fry in medium hot oil until golden.
  3. 3Sprinkle remaining sugar into the oil; turn the rolls until coated in caramel.
  4. 4Drain on a rack, not paper, and cool for a minute.
Serve it like this
