Holi and Shivratri

Thandai, cooling milk with nuts and spices, is drunk during Holi and Mahashivratri, especially in Varanasi and Mathura. Some traditional versions add bhang; this one does not.

Magaz means melon seeds, a classic thandai ingredient.
