Ingredients

Gin50 ml gin, Indian craft if you have it
Tonic water150 ml tonic water
Curry leaves1 small sprig, clapped
Whole spices4 black peppercorns, 1 green cardamom, cracked
Lemon1 lime wedge
Black salta tiny pinch
Ice cubesto fill the glass

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Put the cracked spices and clapped curry leaves in a balloon glass.
  2. 2Fill with ice and pour in the gin.
  3. 3Top with tonic, add the lime and black salt, and stir once.
Serve it like this

Serve in a balloon glass packed with ice, curry leaves and spices visible. Pakoras, masala peanuts or kebabs alongside.
