Ingredients

2 servings
Ripe mango2 small, chopped
Curd (plain yogurt, natural yoghurt)1¼ cups, chilled
Sugar4 tsp
Cardamoma pinch
Ice cubes½ cup
Matcha powder1½ tsp
Water2 tbsp, hot but not boiling
Milk⅓ cup, cold
Honey2 tsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Blend the mango, curd, sugar, cardamom and ice until smooth and thick.
  2. 2Whisk the matcha with the hot water to a smooth paste, then whisk in the cold milk and honey.
  3. 3Pour the lassi into 2 glasses, filling them two thirds.
  4. 4Slowly pour the matcha milk over the back of a spoon onto the lassi. Serve at once.
Serve it like this

Serve in tall clear glasses to show the layers. Dust a little matcha on top and add a mango slice on the rim.
