Ingredients

4 servings
Minced pork (pork mince, ground pork)500 g
Garlic10 cloves, half for rice
Brown sugar3 tbsp
Vinegar1 tbsp
Soy sauce1 tbsp
Black pepper1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder1 tsp
Salt1¼ tsp
Cooked rice4 cups, day old
Egg4
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)3 tbsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Mix the pork with half the garlic, sugar, vinegar, soy, pepper, chilli and 1 tsp salt. Shape into small logs.
  2. 2Fry the logs in a little oil on medium, turning, until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  3. 3Fry the remaining garlic, add rice and salt and toss until hot.
  4. 4Fry the eggs and serve with longganisa and garlic rice.
Serve it like this

Serve with garlic rice in a dome, sausages alongside, a fried egg and vinegar dip.
