Ingredients

2 servings
White bread4 slices, a day old
Egg2 eggs
Milk⅓ cup
Vanilla essence (vanilla flavouring, imitation vanilla extract)¼ tsp
Cinnamon powdera pinch
Butter1 tbsp
Hung curd (greek yogurt)⅓ cup thick yoghurt, for the dip
Strawberries6, mashed
Honey2 tsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon in a wide dish. Cut each slice into 3 fingers.
  2. 2Mash the strawberries with the honey and swirl through the yoghurt for the dip.
  3. 3Dip each finger for 3 seconds a side, then fry in butter over medium heat, turning to colour every side.
  4. 4Drain briefly on paper and serve warm with the dip.
Serve it like this

Stand the fingers in a cup or line them up like logs, with the pink dip in a small bowl for dunking.
